We're back with another round up of coin collecting news and articles from around the internet. To start, the sales figures though the end of April for the United States Mint's bullion coins. Also, the leading design candidates for the 2010 Platinum Eagle, reports following the CSNS convention, Euro notes from Greece, some of the more valuable 50 State Quarters, the formation of the Numismatists United for Political Action, $4 Gold Stella background and history, and notable auctions. The latest monthly sales figures for US Mint bullion coins. The pace of sales has slowed down for the American Gold Eagle, but the newly released American Gold Buffalo picked up some of the slack.

And now for some notable auctions. First, a high grade example of the 1939 Oregon Trail Memorial Half Dollar designed by James Earle Fraser and Laura Gardin Fraser. The coin is holdered PCGS MS67.

Last year's 2009 Proof Platinum Eagle graded PCGS PR70DCAM FS, which featured the first design in the series "A More Perfect Union."

One of the valuable State Quarters mentioned in one of today's articles. The 1999-S Silver Proof Delaware Quarter graded NGC PF 70 Ultra Cameo.
